TERMS OF REFERENCE SERVICE: Development of the “Transformative Business Approach” Training Concepts (05.03.2013)
The Vienna Board of Education requires external support for its project i.e. SMART.
The project i.e. SMART is funded under the European Regional Development Fund and the CENTRAL EUROPE Programme for a period of thirty months. The project consists of a partnership of 12 partners involving 7 Central European Regions. In the framework of this project the development and implementation of a new start-up business training approach is required for emerging entrepreneurs.
1. The Vienna Board of Education in its role as Lead Partner of this project is requesting support in the development of the Train the SMART Trainers concept and the SMART campus concept.
The ‘Train the SMART Trainers’ is a transnational training programme for staff members at the regional ‘SMART points’ (competence centres), so that they can deliver the new multi-disciplinary approach to innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly in the ‘transformative business approach‘ to regional business idea owners (emerging entrepreneurs).
The programme will be developed and run by internationally renowned trainers/coaches/experts.
The programme will be evaluated and a joint transnational strategy and action plan for future training programmes will be compiled.
The ‘SMART campus’ is a transnational training campus for regional business idea owners in the emerging sustainable economic sectors: Creative Industries, Green Economy, and ICT. The campus will bring together regional business idea owners (emerging entrepreneurs) with their counterparts in other partner regions, as well as with existing entrepreneurs, advisers on EU legislation and financial legislation, and potential business stakeholders. The campus will be developed and run by internationally renowned trainers/coaches/experts. The campus will be evaluated and a joint transnational strategy and action plan for future campuses will be compiled.
• Development of the overall educational approach – ‘Transformative Business Approach’
• Development of the Curriculum for the Train the SMART Trainers Workshop (2 x 4 day-workshop).
• Development of the Curriculum for the SMART campus (1 x 4 day-event).
Timing: 20 March 2013 until 2 April 2013
Payment of the service
Payment is due to the delivery of the concept (2 April 2013).
Selection will be done between the 15 and 18 March 2011 and the winning bidder will be notified on the 19 March 2013.
Selection will be done based on the principle of cost effectiveness.
The services should be delivered between the 20 March 2013 and 2 April 2013.
